As a reminder, eligibility is limited to students of families with a combined annual income of less than $150,000, or to those who can demonstrate why this scholarship would make an impact on their college choice based on their personal financial situation, even with a combined annual income of more than $150,000.

**As a reminder, all documents must be UPLOADED by March 31, at 10 p.m. CT.**

Include names and contact information of clubs/organizations served, capacity in which you served, number of hours/week and weeks/years of service for each organization, and a list of all community service projects completed in the last 2 years.

Please provide a letter of recommendation from at least one (but no more than three) teacher/organization/clubs/etc. in which you have served. This should indicate the duration and quality of your involvement and your accomplishments.

• I am a current female high school senior in the DuPage or the surrounding Chicagoland Area.

• I certify that the submitted information and documents are true to the best of my knowledge and ability.

• I understand that Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (“HJWC”) reserves the right to disqualify incomplete applications.

• I grant permission for my high school transcript, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores to be verified by my high school guidance counselor.

• I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following rules set forth by HJWC with regards to my application for one of the HJWC Education scholarships:

• The HJWC Education Committee reserves the right to interview applicants in the final stages of selection.

• The scholarship decision of the HJWC Education Committee is final.

• Canvassing any member of HJWC shall result in immediate disqualification from consideration.

• Scholarship awards are subject to the availability of funds and are contingent upon acceptance and enrollment in an approved higher education program (e.g., University, College, etc.)

• The scholarship monies will be sent directly to the approved program of the applicant’s choice.

• HJWC is permitted to confirm the scholarship recipient’s service/involvement in the activities described in the application.
